Former Machakos Senator Johnson Muthama has promised to reveal his political plans for 2022.
Muthama on Monday told his supporters that he is consulting on what next after failing contest in last year’s general election.
The former Wiper senator said that he has not given up serving the people adding that he will be back to active politics.
“I want to urge my supporters to remain calm as I deliberate on the next move come 2022,” he told supporters in Kangundo Town on Monday.
The former Wiper politician said that despite not contesting for any seta in last year’s polls, he is still politically active.
He said that his key work is to strategise and plan for Wiper party leader Kalonzo’s Musyoka’s 2022 presidential bid.
Muthama said that he will work hard to make sure the former Vice president ascends to power in 2022.
The former senator did not contest for any seat in last year’s general election.
There are speculations that he could contest for the Machakos governor seat in 2022.
Muthama has however denied planning to succeed Governor Alfred Mutua in 2022.
The former senator is a critic of Governor Mutua and has watered down his (Mutua’s) 2022 presidential bid.
Muthama claims that Mutua is inexperienced and unpopular to vie for the presidency in the 2022 general election.
