Machakos senator Johnson Muthama has urged opposition top leaders to remain united if they want to form the next government in August.

Muthama says that unity is critical factor that will see the opposition trounce Jubilee in August 8 polls.

The Machakos senator said that it is time for the opposition to form government claiming that it had been denied the opportunity for too long.

The senator said that the opposition will not allow rigging in the August 8 general elections.

“Our co-principals Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka and Moses Wetangula plus others joining the opposition must remain united to send Jubilee government home,” he said as quoted by the Star Newspaper.

Muthama told Jubilee government to prepare for defeat stating that this time round there will be no tyranny of numbers.

The Machakos senator accused Jubilee government of using tyranny of numbers to intimidate Kenyans and the opposition.

The senator asked opposition supporters to register massively as voters in an exercise scheduled to start on Monday next week.

The opposition is fronting for the formation of NASA that it says will send Jubilee government home in August.

Political analysts say that NASA could be the next big thing if its leaders remain united.
