This is because while forming major coalitions, numbers are critical and these can only be achieved through registration.

Muthama was speaking in a voter registration drive Friday where he was Joined by Deputy Governor Benard Kiala, Deputy speaker Nathaniel Nganga, Matungulu MP Hon. Stephen Mule, MCAs and aspirants from Machakos County.

The registration drive started from Joska through Nguluni to Tala and Kangundo and the message was one, registering as voters.

Muthama also spoke against harassment of residents by police in the area and promised to take action if it does not end immediately.
