Former Machakos Senator Johnson Muthama has dared the police to stop NASA's Tuesday Jacaranda grounds requiem mass for victims of police brutality.Addressing Mlolongo residents on Saturday after attending NASA's mini people's assembly meeting at Maanzoni Lodge,   Muthama said that they (NASA) will not allow the police to stop them from conducting their rally on Tuesday.Muthama told the police to mind their own business and leave NASA leaders and supporters to mourn victims of police brutality."We are telling Nairobi police boss Japheth Koome that this time around he will not stop us from conducting our planned rally on Tuesday the way he did at Uhuru Park during Raila Odinga's arrival from the US a week ago," he said.The former senator asked the police to focus on Uhuru Kenyatta's swearing-in and give NASA space to mourn their killed supporters.He said that Kenyans are tired of police intimidation, adding that things are not going to be business, as usual, moving forward.

Nairobi police boss Japheth Koome on Saturday said that no parallel rally will be held on Tuesday during Uhuru's swearing-in.Koome said that NASA has not issued any notice of holding a.rally or mass within Nairobi,  adding that police will deal firmly with people who are out to cause violence during Uhuru's inauguration.NASA is planning a requiem mass for its supporters who were allegedly killed by the police.The opposition says that it does not recognize president Uhuru Kenyatta's presidency and that its quest for electoral reforms is unstoppable.

Uhuru will be sworn-in for his second term on Tuesday at the Kasarani stadium.
