A body was yesterday found dumped in Naivasha Mai Mahiu highway near chechinia trading centre. The body's part were found scattered all over the place along the highway. According to witness Paul Kiarie, it was very difficult to determine wether the body found was of a male or a female since the wild animals might have maulded the body. "It seems the wild animals might have eaten some part therefore making it very hard to establish the gender of the body. It is either a case of hit and run or maybe it might have been dumped here", Kiarie said.
According to Kiarie, the locals were attracted to the scene by dogs that were eating the body. "If it was not for the dogs, we would have not find the body. The dogs were eating the body parts", Kiarie said. The police came and took the body to Naivasha sub county referral mortuary.
Jane Njeri who was also at the scene said that the body was mutilated maybe to try and make it hard for people to identify it. "It seems that those who did it wanted the body not to be discovered. It is very sad and i urge the police to do their investigations so that the culprit can face the law", Njeri said
