Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua now wants Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka to keep off the county's politics.
Mutua who spoke during a political rally in Masii town claimed Kalonzo has been calling MCAs from Machakos County Assembly urging them to support his (Mutua) impeachment.
According to citizentv.co.ke, Mutua said he has evidence of phone calls made by the former vice president urging ward reps to sign a document supporting his ouster.
"I wonder whether he wants the governor’s seat come 2017, and if so he should come out clean and declare his intentions,” Mutua said as quoted by citizentv.co.ke.
He further added that he will not be coerced or blackmailed by the said MCAs who are using the proposed impeachment to extort money from him.
