Machakos County boss Dr. Alfred Mutua has questioned why leaders of the National Super Alliance (NASA) decided to hold a rally in his backyard.
The second time governor retorted why the leaders did not take the rally to Kitui or Makueni where their aspirants emerged victorious in the August General election.
“I have heard that the NASA leadership is coming to Machakos for a rally. That is their constitutional right. I am just wondering, how come they never go to Makueni County where they have a NASA Governor or Kitui County where one of the NASA Principals hails from? Just wondering,” The governor questioned.
The remarks of the county boss come after Wiper Party Leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka asked the leaders of the alliance not to lose focus ahead of the Former Prime Minister, Raila Amolo Odinga’s swearing-in ceremony. He asked the leaders not to be misguided by the talks of infighting in the alliance as they seek to take over power from the Jubilee regime.
The Ukambani political kingpin has also maintained that the alliance is not fighting for power sharing. He insisted that they want to end electoral injustices the nation has suffered since independence.
