Kericho governor Prof Paul Chepkwony who is on his maiden tour to Machakos county was the chief guest in the grand opening of Miu and Masii Level 3 hospitals that have been under renovation.

According to Mutua, the visit is an affirmation of the good relationship that exists between the two counties. 

Earlier on, Kericho governor had hosted Mutua in his county. The governor of Kericho and his delegation have also brought 50,000 tree seedlings which will be planted to make a forest, a solid symbol of the friendship between the two counties.

According to Mutua, the 50,000 tree forest, will be called Kericho Forest.
