[Photo|Busia County Government]Busia Woman Representative Florence Mutua and County Commissioner Michael Ole Tialal have differed on whether the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), should go on with the October 26th fresh presidential elections or not.Mutua has told NASA supporters in the county to remain indoors on October 26, while Tialal says the elections will go on as planned, warning those planning to cause mayhem of dire consequences."Our presidential candidate Raila Odinga has withdrawn from the race although IEBC has defiantly retained his name in the ballot. It will be a Jubilee election and others but not us as NASA," she said.Addressing the press in Nambale on Saturday, Mutua said October 26th will be a holiday, for NASA supporters."Let our members stay indoors. Those who will purport to block those who want to go and cast their votes will be Jubilee goons to portray it is NASA who are causing mayhem," she said. The ODM lawmaker said President Uhuru Kenyatta had ruled out dialogue with the opposition leader, adding that NASA members will wait for direction from their leader, Raila Odinha, on the way forward after IEBC declined to address NASA's 12 irreducible minimum reforms to participate in the elections.Tialal however assured voters of their security on voting day."Enough security will be deployed to deal with those who will try to scare others from going to exercise their constitutional rights across the county," he said.
