Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua has claimed that he intends to reveal key political figures involved in the maize scandal.
Speaking during a tree planting ceremony in Machakos Town constituency, Mutual stated that he knows the people who are involved and he will give President Uhuru Kenyatta the full list.
"We know corruption cartels in the country are determined to fight back through thick and thin but they must know their time to siphon public funds through dubious deals is over," Mutua said.
In an interview with a local publication, Mutua stated that he had a full list and it was just a matter of time before he unleashes it.
"I have a list which I was given by investigative sources of the senior people and the amounts they have stolen, which ranges from Ksh10 million for a Senator, Ksh100 million for a Cabinet Secretary and anotherKsh300 million for another senior leader. I believe Uhuru must also have the list. I am waiting for complete files and then will ensure Kenyans know who the real thieves are," Mutua told Kenyans.co.ke.
He further urged the Head of State not to relent in the war on graft.
