Mutua on Thursday said that demonstrations and protests will not help, urging the opposition leaders to seek other ways.

He said he is not in support of the plan to storm IEBC offices to eject the commissioners.

“Cord leaders should employ the required mechanisms in their quest to have IEBC disbanded, use of protests is not the right way,” said Mutua during an interview on Musyi FM on Thursday.

Mutua who is a member of the Wiper Democratic Movement party that is affiliated to Cord said inciting Kenyans to demonstrations was not the right thing and must be stopped.

Mutua said that there is need for leaders to create unity as the country approaches 2017 election.

Cord leaders are calling for the disbandment of IEBC accusing it's commissioners of being biased.

The Cord leaders have vowed to continue camping at IEBC offices every Tuesday until the commissioners resign.
