Machakos county Governor Alfred Mutua has faulted President Uburu Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto for being failing to end corruption in the country.
Speaking in Kisii town on Thursday, the governor wondered why no official has ever been arrested for corruption under te current regime.
"Kenyans are suffering while a few individuals benefit by looting public funds, the presdent should take action against such leaders," hhe said.
"The president and his deputy should be aware that Kenyans did not vote them into power so as some of their friends can enrich themselves," he added.
Governor Mutua asked the Head of state to ensure that corrupt officials in his Government are prosecuted.
The Maendeleo Chap Chap party leader asked the Ethics and Anti-corruption Commission not to stop the war against corruption.
