Dr Alfred Mutua yesterday evening hosted a dinner for Iranian delegation that was led by the minister for trade, industry and mining Mr Mohammad Reza and Iranian ambassador to Kenya Dr Hadi.

The meeting discussed possible areas of partnership between Machakos county and Iran such as trade and industrialization. Mutua called on the delegation to set up investments in Machakos county.

The Machakos delegation also discussed the issue of exporting green grams to Iran among other items. The move of lobbying investors according to Mutua is set to reduce employment level in the county.
