Mutinda said that Machakos county government has put in plan all promised development projects and implementation will be overseen as soon as possible.

These report from the governor's office was passed after the Member of Parliament of Yatta constituency  Francis Mwangangi accused Mutua's government as one which starts projects that are never completed and if not so, promises others which are never even started.

MP Mwangangi particularly mentioned the promises of issuing chicks for commercial poultry farming to the youth in Kithimani ward, which was Mutua's promise and which was never fulfilled.

He also mentioned another incident whereby Mutua promised 2000 job opportunities to the youth in Machakos, which also never came to pass.

He also mentioned that the farming tractors Mutua promised the people have only helped a few, of which are senior persons in the county government and friends to the Governor.

"The job opportunities we promised to the youth were for real and we are still working with the embassies because they were foreign jobs which requires a lot of paper work and that is why they are taking quite long, and also every other projects promised will be implemented with time and non was false," said Mutinda.

Mwangangi however had insisted that 5 years, which complete Mutua's first term as Governor, are coming to an end yet he still owe a lot of unfulfilled promises to the people.
