Machakos Senator Johnson Muthama has hit out at Governor Alfred Mutua accusing him of having poor leadership qualities.

The Machakos senator claims that Mutua’s poor leadership has worsened the lives of Machakos people.

Speaking during an interview on Citizen TV on Sunday, Muthama further claimed Mutua has ‘stolen’ and misused public resources.

“Everyone in Ukambani knows that Mutua is a bad leader who can never do anything for the people,” he claimed during the interview.

The Machakos senator stated that he knew Mutua a long time ago and that his leadership has never been good for Machakos locals.

The senator while maintaining that he has nothing personal against Mutua, asked locals to make informed decisions in next year’s election.

The Machakos senator claimed that Mutua’s bad leadership has seen the county’s security and service delivery deteriorate.

He accused the governor of allegedly using propaganda and Public Relations to deceive people that he is working when he is not.

Senator Muthama has on several occasions differed with governor Mutua on matters development.

Mutua on the other side has often accused Muthama of being jealous of the development being made in the county.
