Wiper Party Leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka has lambasted Machakos Governor Dr. Alfred Mutua saying that he is a project.
In an exclusive interview on Musyi FM on Friday morning, Kalonzo said that the county boss is being used to destroy his political career as he seeks to rise to power in 2022.
The former vice president talked about how he had great hopes of nurturing Mutua to rise to great ranks in the political arena.
"Governor Mutua really disappointed me; I had high hopes for him. I wanted to mentor him. Mutua is a project, he was propped up to ruin my name in the grassroots," he said.
Kalonzo and Mutua after the latter accused the NASA Super Alliance (NASA) Presidential candidate of frustrating him since he took over power following the last general elections.
Kalonzo also defended his track record since he entered the political arena. This is after President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto said that he did nothing for the many years he was in power.
"They have spread propaganda that I did nothing in government, but what has Ruto done except involvement in scandals. I brought water to Mwingi from Mbeere that was my project. I extended Del Monte road to Mwingi," he said.
