Machakos County Governor Dr Alfred Mutua officially kicked off a one-week induction forum for all Members of the Machakos County government.
The induction will feature all members of Machakos County Assembly including clerks, sergeant at arms, speaker of the County government and other officials.
"All these members will be educated on all processes that happen during a County sitting of all members of the County Assembly of Machakos. We look forward to a busy session this week," said Mutua.
Mutua who was speaking as he opened the induction forum at Machakos County government buildings stressed the importance of working together and achieving credibility amongst all members of Machakos County Assembly.
The one-week induction is scheduled to end on Sunday before the members converge their sitting next week led by Governor Alfred Mutua.
This has been the norm after every general election where members of the County Assembly undergo an induction process bearing in mind that some members are new in the field.
