Machakos governor Dr Alfred Mutua has opened a water treatment facility at Kola dam.

Speaking during the launch of the facility, governor Mutua pointed out that the treatment facility will be used to increase water quantity at the Kola health center.

Mutua further added that his government is focused on digging more boreholes dams and weirs so as to increase water availability to the residents of Machakos county.
