Machakos County Askaris are alleged to have destroyed property belonging to Nairobi senator Mike Sonko under the authority of Governor Alfred Mutua on Wednesday night.

According to Citizen digital, the askaris destroyed signposts to Sonko's family home along Mombasa road.

It is alleged that, Mutua ordered the sign posts to be pulled down over a disagreement with the senator.
