The county boss, also Maendeleo Chap Chap Leader, said that he has good plans for the people of Machakos if he retains his post, which includes the stadium.
He was speaking when he launched his manifesto as the election date draws closer. The governor said that the airport will feature special zones for exportation and importation as he seeks to transform the lives of the residents in the next five years.
“Already approval has been sought from the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority and the completion of the airport will connect Machakos directly to the world,” said Mutua, as quoted by Capital FM.
The lawmaker also hinted at contesting for the nation’s top seat in 2022. He argued that Kenyans need good leaders, adding that he is a perfect choice.
“I have traversed across the country and people tell me they want rapid development .That is why I have accepted their call that I ran for the presidency come 2022,” said Mutua.
The governor will lock horns with Deputy William Ruto if their words are anything we can go by when that time comes.
