President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto will beat National Super Alliance (NASA) Presidential candidate, Raila Amolo Odinga hands down because they have conducted massive campaigns across the nation following the nullification of the August election by The Supreme Court, Machakos Governor Dr. Alfred Mutua has said.

The county boss said that the opposition wasted the time it was given to seek the support from the people in the name of running up and down in the name of protests, adding that the leaders will reap exactly what they have sowed when that time comes.

Mutua, who spoke in Masii, compared President Uhuru and Raila, who is taking his fourth stab at the nations’ top seat to farmers in the field?

“There is a saying utavuna ulichokipanda [You’ll reap what you sow]. Only the farmer who clears the field and plants expects a harvest. The wider the area planted, the more the harvest,” Mutua said, as quoted by the Star.

The county boss’ remarks come at a time when the opposition has maintained that it will not take part in the rerun until its irreducible minimums are met.
