Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua has lashed out at Cord leader Raila Odinga over his conduct during the burial of former Cabinet Minster William Ole Ntimama.

He said that Odinga's sentiments did not support any development in the country and it was wrong for the opposition chief to use such a platform in spreading anti-development agenda.

"This is the time when we should be talking about development issues, not time elected leaders to go on talking about who should be elected on what political party," Mutua is quoted by the Star.

The Maendeleo Chap Chap Movement leader has said that even after 40 years in politics, Raila rhetoric does not support any meaningful development. 

Mutua who was speaking in Kericho urged leaders to emulate President Uhuru Kenyatta to emulate President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto on matters development. 

Mutua joins Amani National Congress leader Musalia Mudavadi in condemning Cord leader for turning Ntimama's burial into a political battleground.
