According to Mutua, UhuRuto have initiated many projects in different parts of this nation, which is a clear sign that they are development oriented just like him.

“Uhuru and I share the same ideology of development. That’s why I back him for a second term,” said Mutua, as quoted by Capital.

Speaking during his tour in Nyandarua County over the weekend, Mutua said that he will support President Kenyatta’s re-election in order to make this country a better place.

The governor also said that he is a servant on a mission to transform the lives of his people. During his tour, over 1500 endorsed his presidential bid come 2022.

Led by Kanja Muchina, who is eyeing Nyandarua County gubernatorial seat, the leaders assured the governor of their support if he runs for the country’s top seat.

Muchina described Mutua as a leader with a vision. "The people of Machakos have a visionary leader whose agenda is beyond Ukambani politics,” said Muchina.

If Mutua listens to the voice of the people, he is likely to lock horns with Deputy President William Ruto and Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho.
