Machakos governor Dr. Alfred Mutua found himself in trouble with a section of Kenyans on social media after he questioned why the opposition organized a rally in his county.
According to Mutua, the National Super Alliance (NASA) could have held the rally in Machakos or Kitui where its candidates won the election. Kenyans on social media were however not happy with his point of view.
The governor posted: “I have heard that the NASA leadership is coming to Machakos for a rally. That is their constitutional right. I am just wondering, how come they never go to Makueni County where they have a NASA Governor or Kitui County where one of the NASA Principals hails from? Just wondering,” The governor questioned.
