Mutua on Monday said he will stop at nothing to deal with corrupt county officials.

He said county officials promoting the vice will be dealt with accordingly.

Through his Press Secretary, Mutinda Mwanzia, Mutua said warned promoters of corruption in the county that their days were numbered and that soon the long arm of the law will catch up with them.

"My main aim is to ensure that the county administration is not in vain but is to serve fully and benefit Kenyan citizens," said Mutua in a statement read on his behalf by Mwanzia.

He spoke days after the suspension of six county health officials over abuse of office.

Mutua said he has already scrutinised officials in the sub counties of Mwala, Mavoko, Machakos.

His next move will focus at fighting corruption at Masinga, Kangundo and Matungulu.
