Maendeleo Chap Chap Party leader, Dr. Alfred Mutua has asked the leaders of the opposition to respect the constitution of this nation as they fight against what they term as electoral injustices.
According to the Machakos county boss, Kenya is not a republic nation where leaders can decide to take any route.
” As a party what we are saying is that Kenya is not a Banana Republic. We have a constitution and the law,” said Mutua through his Twitter.
The governor further said that the constitution of this nation offers guidelines on what leaders and common Wananchi should abide by.
”The constitution is very clear and we must get rid of this politics of impunity,” said Mutua.
The remarks of the county boss come at a time when National Super Alliance (NASA) leaders have maintained that they will not relent in their quest for power.
Led by Former Prime Minister, Raila Amolo Odinga, the politicians have been hitting President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto with endless demands. They have also insisted that Uhuru is not in power legally.
