Machakos governor Dr Alfred Mutua held a meeting with Maendeleo Chap Chap party (MCCP) aspirants and delegates in Kisii town, Monday.
He said MCCP would field candidates in all contested levels from governors, senators, members of parliament, Women Representatives and Ward Representatives, in all Counties across the country.
"We promise to hold the fairest party nomination exercise ever held in Kenya. As a party we will support all our candidates so as to make their vote hunting easy because our end goal is to win'' said the MCCP leader.
Mutua urged MCCP aspirants to focus on issues that affect the people, such as industrialisation, agriculture, water, education, health, roads among others, saying his party envisages faster delivery of services to citizens.
"I am so encouraged by the handwork and energy of these people as they toil from morning till night to earn a descent living, thereby helping the national economy grow,'' he said when addressing residents, buyers and traders at Kisii market.
