Machakos county Alfred Mutua has come in defense of the fast rate with which the Masinga Kavindini road was constructed following massive criticism from different factions.
The county boss took to twitter to speak on the quality of the road which was established in the county.
The second term county boss said that he has given detailed information in regard to the project.
He also said that he is not ready to listen to critics who want to bring him down politically.
“Today’s state of the Masinga road’s first seal we applied at the rate of 1 KM/10 mins. The layer sits on: a sub-base layer, Stabilization layer, MC 30 priming & 80/100 lami. After it settles we will apply a final layer of 6/10 chippings, propagandists now you know” he wrote, as quoted by a local daily.
The county boss has maintained that he will continue to deliver on his promises in the next five years after retaining his post. Mutua, also the Maendeleo Chap Chap leader has pledged to address different areas including education, security, infrastructure, women and youth empowerment among others before the end of his term in office.
