Wiper Democratic leader Kalonzo Musyoka risks facing a major court battle should he not apologize to Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua.
Kalonzo had reportedly linked the Maendeleo Chap Chap politician ton the alleged kidnapping of Deputy Governor Bernard Kiala’s daughter.
But a furious Mutua on Friday demanded an apology from his party leader and threatened to sue him should he fail to apologise.
“Kalonzo cannot unfairly link me to death yet I have never kidnapped or even dare to in my life. As a leader, he went overboard and I demand that he apologizes in a week’s time or I take legal actions against him,” he said.
“The good thing is that the girl was found in his boyfriend’s house and I am ready to have a court battle with him. It’s unfair to take politics to that level even if you disagree with my ideologies,” he added.
He two leaders have been engaged in a battle of titans with both keen to take control of Akamba votes.
