Machakos Governor Dr Alfred Mutua has promised to work with the Jubilee government to realize the development of his county and the country as a whole.
Dr Mutua who recently unveiled his political party known as Maendeleo Chap Chap has vowed to support the president's development citing several accomplishments of the President Uhuru's government ranging from the Digital Literacy Programme (DLP) where all class one pupils received tablets, electrification of schools in the country, water projects, infrastructure among others and asked the people to vote in the president come 2017 elections.
"Mr President I would like to thank you for visiting Machakos county. Your government has been in the forefront in development of Machakos county and we as Maendeleo Chap Chap will support you development agenda and subsequent re-election in 2017 to continue with your developments," said Mutua.
Dr Mutua further said the county of Machakos had immensely benefitted from water projects and infrastructural developments carried out by the national government.
He said the county of Machakos would work with a president that supports the development and according to him, President Uhuru was the ideal man to work with.
