Machakos gubernatorial hopeful Wavinya Ndeti has warned Governor Alfred Mutua against intruding into Wiper party affairs.
Ndeti wants Mutua to mind his own business and stop poking his nose into Wiper affairs.
The Wiper party governor hopeful says that Kalonzo has no moral authority to speak about or question Wiper Party activities.
“Dr Mutua should mind his own business and stop intruding into our party activities, he has his own party and should concentrate on it,” said Ndeti as quoted by the People Daily.
Ndeti rubbished governor Mutua’s claims that Wiper party Machakos gubernatorial nomination results were ‘doctored’ in her favour.
Ndeti said that she won the Wiper nomination ticket fairly and that Mutua’s claims are baseless.
The governor hopeful claimed that Dr Mutua has sensed defeat and his agenda is to tarnish Wiper party ahead of August polls.
On Monday, Mutua accused Wiper Party of allegedly ‘cooking’ up its gubernatorial nomination results.
He alleged that the results in favour of Wavinya Ndeti were ‘doctored’ and meant to mislead the Machakos people.
Wavinya Ndeti clinched the Wiper governor ticket in the wiper nomination after garnering 299,312 votes against her rival Bernard Kiala’s 4,663 votes.
Kiala refuted the results claiming that the Sunday nomination was not free and fair.
Ndeti has picked former East Africa Legislative MP Peter Mathuki as her running mate and exuded confidence of trouncing Mutua in the August 8 polls.
