Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua has dismissed his recent removal from the Wiper Democratic Movement (WDM) party register claiming that it was expected.
Mutua was de-whipped along with six other MPs from Ukambani for allegedly working closely with rival Jubilee government.
The Maendeleo Chap Chap proprietor also took a swipe at former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka by accusing him of allegedly playing politics of poverty.
"they have been chasing me up and down since 2013 when i took over and their main aim is to oppose development. It is not news that eventually they have kicked me out of their party," he said.
"Kalonzo tolerates politics of poverty which i do not support. I am very keen to see my people getting good services in every sector. we do not have to politic everything," he added.
Mutua also maintained that he will defend his seat on Maendeleo Chap Chap movement which he promised to popularize across the country.
