Maendeleo Chap Chap party leader Alfred Mutua has called upon leaders of different parties who have been rigged out during primaries to join his political outfit ahead of the forthcoming general polls to keep their dreams burning.

Mutua, Machakos County boss, argues that there is no need for aspirants to continue clinging on parties if they are sure they were rigged out of the upcoming polls when there are alternatives.

"If things have not worked out well in the primaries, just join Maendeleo Chap Chap," Mutua said in a statement released to Newsrooms.

The governor, who broke ranks with Wiper Leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka, said that there is room for party-hopping up May 8, hence affected aspirants have no reasons to panic if things do not work out on their site as expected.

"No candidate should be locked out of the ballot. The law is very clear on the issue," he added.

The governor opted to walk away from Wiper citing frustrations from the party boss and other leaders.

He has announced that he will be contesting for Presidency in 2022. Former Kathiani MP Wavinya Ndeti is among aspirants who have joined the race to unseat him in August.
