Maendeleo Chap Chap’s Senate candidate Carlos Kioko has launched a scathing attack on Machakos Senator Johnson Muthama and Deputy Governor Bernard Kiala. Kioko argues that the two leaders are to blame for the areas where Machakos Governor Dr. Alfred Mutua failed to deliver for the past four years he has been in office following his election into power.
According to Kioko, the two leaders have been fighting Mutua, which he believes is not good for the development of this part of the nation.
The aspirant also revealed that the county boss could not do much when it comes to development oriented matters when leaders around him were constantly waging war against him.
“There was no possible way residents could enjoy development and have their lives improved with the bad blood between the top county chiefs,” he told residents of Mlolongo town as quoted by Star.
Muthama has been launching attack after attack against leaders allied to Former Vice President Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka.
The governor fell out with Kalonzo after accusing him of frustrating his work since he took over office following the last general elections. Mutua argues that Kalonzo started fighting him from the first day he was elected into office.
