Makueni senator Mutula Kilonzo Jnr has reiterated that the planned October 26 repeat polls will not go on.
Speaking during the 'Sidebar' show on NTV, the Wiper party senator said that plans by the Nasa coalition to hold demonstrations on the appointed day would make it impossible for such election to proceed but regretted that such demos could turn violent because of a police force out to break them.
" 26th October is not going to be a birthday to Uhuru Kenyatta because a signification population of this country is going to demonstrate, and the demos are going to be very violent because the police are going to try and break them violently. We have seen about 15 lorries heading to Western Kenya today and those lorries are not carrying mangoes and vegetables, they are carrying guns," he said.
"We should be asking ourselves how can we get out of this Armageddon we are facing," he said.
Nasa leader Raila Odinga on Wednesday called upon his supporters to stage demonstrations on the election day.
