Makueni Senator Mutula Kilonzo Jnr has accused President Uhuru Kenyatta of failing to honour key pledges he made alongside his Deputy William Ruto in the run up to the 2013 general elections.
Speaking on Wednesday when he appeared on Citizen TV's JKL show, Mutula further accused the Jubilee adminstration of failing to run a people-driven policy that could have an immediate positive impact on lives of most Kenyans.
“People on the ground are so much disappointed because Jubilee failed to initiate people-driven policies. For instance, I want to be sincere here, it is good that the SGR is passing through Makueni County, but the poor man or woman who is hungry and does not have water is asking him/herself how the SGR will put food to his table when the cost of living has skyrocketed,” he stated.
The Wiper Party lawmaker further exuded optimism that the Opposition alliance NASA would win the presidency during the forthcoming polls.
