Makueni Senator, Mutula Kilonzo Jr, has a different story to tell after he took a swipe at the Jubilee administration for failing to initiate people driven policies since it took over the leadership of this nation.
Kilonzo, who spoke on the JKLive Show on Citizen TV Wednesday, said that the Jubilee leadership has nothing more to offer to the Kenyans. He criticized Uhuru’s projects including the Standard Gauge Railway, which he termed as a misplaced priority.
“People on the ground are so much disappointed because Jubilee failed to initiate people-driven policies. For instance, I want to be sincere here, it is good that the SGR is passing through Makueni County, but the poor man or woman who is hungry and does not have water is asking him/herself how the SGR will put food on his table when the cost of living has skyrocketed,” said the Senator, as quoted by Citizen.
Kilonzo will be defending his seat on Wiper after he rejected calls to contest for governorship.
