The second wife of the late Makueni Senator Mutula Kilonzo has said that the politician had a premonition of his demise.
Appearing before a Machakos Court, Nduku Mutula said that the senator had a feeling that someone wants him dead before his body was found lifeless at his Kwa Kyelu ranch in Machakos. The wife of the deceased politician said that he had seen mysterious insects in the house before he passed on.
"I had noticed some insects in the house. I wanted to call a fumigation company but he told me, and I quote, 'My life is in danger. I cannot allow strangers in the house'," she said.
On his part, Mutula Kilonzo Junior has maintained that his life is in danger following the mysterious death of his father. The lawmaker died on April 27, 2013, under unclear circumstances.
“I don’t know who exactly killed my father. But the danger always lurks around me. The person who wanted him dead eventually got him dead,” the senator said, as quoted by the Local Daily.
He added: If he posed a threat to whoever killed him, the killer wouldn’t hesitate to look for me if he thought I also posed a threat.”
