Kilonzo Wednesday said the President made a big mistake during the Saturday prayer-cum-thanksgiving rally in Afraha stadium, noting that as a president entitled to only two terms or less he could not gamble with the future of the nation.

"What will happen 50 years to come and the country is led by a tyrant who is keen on harming people. We must remain at the ICC to avert such a crisis," he told Nation FM.

However, in a swift rejoinder, nominated MP and TNA chairman Johnson Sakaja said the quit was inevitable since ICC had proved to be too political and skewed towards African leaders.

The president declared during the rally that no Kenyan would be tried in a foreign land as they had been with his deputy William Ruto, Henry Kosgey, Hussein Ali, Francis Muthaura and Joshua Sang.

Uhuru said internal disagreements would be solved locally.
