Chief Justice Willy Mutunga will on Thursday present a certified copy of Dedan Kimathi's trial and appellate file to the late freedom fighter's family.

The ceremony will take place at 10:30 am at the Supreme Court Building.

Thereafter, the CJ will formally release the file to the media and the general public.

The file was obtained recently from the United Kingdom, and will be among key exhibits in the Judicial Museum of Kenya that is nearing completion at the Supreme Court.
