Muturi's message to the military

National Assembly Speaker Justin Muturi has commended the military for the work they do, not only during war but also at peace times. 

The speaker said the military had helped especially during disaster management times, adding that when they are involved, the response has always been swift and remarkable. 

Muturi made the remarks when he met a delegation of military officers from Oman who paid him a courtesy call in his office on Tuesday.

 The team was led by Brigadier Asifi Mohammed and the country's Ambassador to Kenya Sales Suleiman Al Harthi. 

The officers are in the country attending a one year course at the National Defence College in Karen.
