Nacada Chairman John Mututho has congratulated the police for their continued efforts to fight drug abuse in different parts of the country.
Speaking in Nakuru after visiting Nakuru police station where some drug peddlers were detained, Mututho warned any officers who might be colluding with the said criminals in their activities.
Mututho termed the arrests as a big win against drug dealers in Nakuru County, whom he has blamed on the increased school dropouts, saying they have been selling drugs to students.
"We have been tracing these drug peddlers who smuggle drugs into our schools for a long time. They are known but no action is usually taken. The police now have their map and as we have nabbed these ones, is just the way we will get the rest," said Mututho.
"I saw them and I have to say that the cops have done a good job as this could be the end of road for these suspects. This is the only way to end drug abuse here in Nakuru," he added.
Mututho urged the Police to continue storming the peddlers' hideouts, saying that their time to ruin other people's lives has come to an end.
