Former Nacada chairman John Mututho has slammed at companies, buinsess people and individuals who are still opposed to the ban on shisha smoking.
Speaking in Turi, Molo, Mututho said smoking of shisha has great harm to the users with statistics indicating that those who smoke shisha are at high risk of several different types of cancer.
He added that the ban on shisha should be embraced by all adding that Tanzania, Rwanda, Pakistan, Jordan, Singapore and Saudi Arabia had already embraced the same.
“I think anyone who is opposing the ban is not informed on the negative health impacts of the same. The ban on shisha should be embraced by all adding that Tanzania,Rwanda, Pakistan, Jordan, singapore and Saudi Arabia had already embraced the same," he said.
The former Naivasha MP added that the Ministry of Health has a lot to do to ensure success in the fight against other drugs and substances abuse in the country.
