Nacada Chairman has issued a stern warning against those whose vehicle will be found carrying drugs, will be seized by the government and legal action taken against them.
Muthutho warned motorists that their vehicle would be government property if found carrying the outlawed substance and also urged passengers to be vigilant when meeting a stranger and carrying their cargo whose content they are not conversant with, noting that it will be unfortunate for whoever would be found in possession of drug as the law will take its course.
“You better are told before you are found on the wrong hand of the law, if you are found carrying a drug or alcohol forgets your vehicle plus yourself,” Muthutho warned.
Muthutho was occasioning the ant-drug workshop as an invited guest for the has-been-running campaign against the use of alcohol and drugs in the Kisii County at the Kisii University Main Campus, with a big number of youth coming out in big number helping in disseminating the message about the far reaching effect of drug use.
The event which started on 3th of June Wednesday this week was got to its climax today when the Nacada chairman addressed the Kisii University students, lecturers and the neighbouring community who attended the function.
The Nacada chairman reiterated the significance of the society join hands to fight against this vice which by far and wide is affecting the energetic youth and requested everyone in attendance to be bold and present any of their members who might be a victim to their Nacada centre which have been created in every county for assistance.
