Mvita MP Abdulswamad Shariff Nassir on Wednesday donated school uniforms to St Augustine's School following a fire incident early August that destroyed property.

Speaking during the donation ceremony held at the school, the legislator used the opportunity to wish the students well in their studies, challenging them to focus on academic work.

"I had pledged to get school uniforms for the affected students and I am glad to have kept my promise," he said.

"I am also happy that the students have moved on and are now fully focused on their studies," he added.
