[Photo Abdulswamad Nassir]Mvita MP Abdulswamad Nassir joined Mombasa residents during a community dialogue forum (hosted by the Kenya Redcross) with the security authorities and members of criminal gangs who have surrendered to the police following the Government’s recent amnesty offer. "I am glad for the change of hearts by the group who received the forgiveness from the community and in turn were granted amnesty by the Government," said the MP on Saturday.He said the group would now undergo a counseling programme facilitated by the Kenya Red Cross before being absorbed back into the society. "They will later be incorporated in a Livelihood Project implemented by Kenya Red Cross Society," he added.Kenya Red Cross Society Secretary-General Abbas Gullet was also present.
