Mvita MP Abdulswamad Nassir is set to retain his seat according to the results that have been released by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) so far.

The MP, who is defending his seat on an ODM Party ticket, had garnered 42, 494 votes (76.54%) as at 11.30am.Jubilee candidate Omar Shallo is in second position with 10, 722 votes (19.31%), followed by Independent candidate Rishi Parikh who has garnered 824 votes (1.48%).Here’s how the other candidates are faring in the polls.Shariff Shekue of Kanu - 734 votes (1.32%)ND’s Ahmed Hood Ahmed - 383 votes (0.69%)Patrick Wekoma of Nark Kenya - 363 votes (0.65%)
