Mvita lawmaker Sharrif Nassir joined the County residents during a stakeholders forum on Education hosted at Allidina Visram.
They held a meeting that saw the status of enrollment into secondary schools assessed in addition to other academic matters in the County.
"I am glad for the improved enrollments rates in the County following a grass root campaign on free secondary education," said the MP on Thursday.
Nassir pledged to continue rolling out retina scanners project in various Mvita schools in the next 4 years as well as rolling out such technology in future to assist all County schools to curb absenteeism.
The MP further visit Mvita and Jela Baridi clinics on Thursday marking Day 2 of health facilities inspection tour.
He assessed there status, challenges and improvement opportunities.
"We shall continue to closely work together with the County Government of Mombasa to improve and enhance accessibility to health services," affirmed the MP.
