Photo/ the-star.co.keFormer Matuga MP Chirau Ali Mwakwere who has declared interest in the Kwale Governor seat has accused President Uhuru Kenyatta's government of land grabbing.Mwakere asked residents in the county to reject Uhuru and his deputy William Ruto, during the August polls.Speaking at Kinango on Sunday during NASA's coalition charm offensive of the region, the former Kenyan Ambassador to Tanzania urged the locals to embrace the new political outfit saying it is capable of changing their lives.Mwakwere said the current Jubilee regime came to power with many promises, but the Uhuru-led administration has become a talk-shop rather than development-oriented.Mwakwere who used the same occasion to pitch for his election as Kwale's county boss, criticized Governor Salim Mvurya who will defend his seat on a Jubilee Party ticket after ditching ODM.Critical of Mvurya's development record, the veteran politician claimed that four years since coming into office, the governor has nothing tangible to show for his time in office.
