Kwale gubernatorial hopeful Chirau Ali Mwakwere has said he has nothing to fear after losing his running mate to the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM).Simon Mwero Mkalla on Tuesday ditched the Wiper Party following an alleged misunderstanding between him and Mwakwere's campaign committee.Mwakwere said he will look for another like minded colleague and partner in him or her in taking Kwale County to another level in terms of development.“I think Mkalla was supposed to raise his concerns with me first before taking such a drastic move,” said Mwakwere. He said though MKalla's decision to support ODMs Issah Chipera was final, the issues he raised were not genuine and convincing.“How can you raise important issues though a radio station instead of having a dialogue with the concerned party and specifically me?” asked Mwakwere. However, Mwakwere, said all is not lost as he was already working on replacing Mkalla and carry on with his main objective of clinching the county's top seat.Mkalla argued that Wiper was not popular in the county, adding that only an ODM candidate will clinch the seat.
